The Jersey Devil Film Festival is a celebration of strange stories, outsider cinema, and the weird corners of folklore that refuse to stay quiet. Inspired by the legend of the Jersey Devil, the festival showcases independent films that lean into cryptids, dark folklore, rural unease, horror, supernatural themes, and beautifully off-beat storytelling.
This isn’t a polished red-carpet affair—it’s a passion-driven gathering for filmmakers and audiences who like their cinema a little unhinged, atmospheric, and curious. Films range from eerie narrative shorts to experimental work, documentaries, and genre pieces that explore fear, myth, and the spaces just outside the ordinary.
More than just screenings, the festival is part of a larger weekend of events, conversations, and community, where filmmakers can connect directly with audiences and fellow creators. If your work is strange, bold, or delightfully unsettling, this is your crowd.
