Jersey Devil Fable Festival FAQ

What is this?  Its an annual festival of Jersey Uniqueness- Folklore, Art, Music, Story Telling and just general cryptid fun with a little UFO business thrown in there. The festival follows the Krampus AP format, which is : Film Festival (generally the Friday Nighht) street festoval on Saturday

Where is it?  It is on the 600 block of Mattison Avenue in Asbury Park, NJ

When is it?  It is the first weekend in may each year.

Why is it in Asbury Park?  Kathy Kelly, story teller and historian originally opened The Jersey Devil Museum in 2009 to commemorate the 100 anniversary of the phenomenal week.  It was featured on Destination Truth and operated for 2 years.  After a fashion, the museum expanded its offering and became The Paranormal Museum and it is in Asbury Park NJ!  So, that is why the festival is here.
