Angus Gillespie is a respected American folklorist and professor at Rutgers University, widely known for his research on New Jersey folklore and the cultural history of the Pine Barrens. He is the author of The Jersey Devil in Fact, Fiction, and Folklore, a definitive work examining the origins and evolution of the легенд, and is a frequent lecturer and media expert on regional myths, legends, and traditions.

The Jersey Devil Film Festival™ is a two-day showcase of independent horror, folklore, and genre films, featuring curated blocks of short and feature-length selections from emerging and established filmmakers. Held in Asbury Park, the festival highlights original storytelling rooted in legend, mystery, and the strange, offering audiences a focused and engaging cinematic experience.

The Tales of the Jersey Devil Walking Tour explores the stories of New Jersey’s most famous cryptid alongside other lesser-known creatures said to inhabit the state. Blending regional folklore, historical accounts, and local legend, this guided experience brings to life the strange and enduring stories of the Pine Barrens and beyond.
