PTOWN Paranormal

Are the Provincetown Ghost Tours Family Friendly?
Yes!  AND FRIENDLY DOG FRIENDLY TOO! But please remember that the subject matter is sometimes ghastly and there will be mention of dead bodies and crimes from time to time.  You know your children best!

What about Weather?

Provincetown is a magical place and generally is blessed with great weather on weekends in the summer.  That being said, our tours are rain or shine and non- refundable.  Your ticket is good for the date and time of your tour. Provincetown Ghost Tour cancellations due to inclement weather will be determined exclusively by Provincetown Paranormal.  In other words, unless its gale force winds, we walk the streets in search of the spirits of the past.

How far is it?

The Provincetown Ghost Tours is a leisurely paced ¾ mile trek on mostly flat ground.  There is a slight hill and a flight of stairs.  Should you require accommodation because of limitations, please contact us ahead of time and we will work to make it accessible.  However, you should be able to walk at a slower pace and stand for 60 minutes.

Where does the tour start?

The Haunted History ( Ghost )Tour starts at 1 Tremont St, Provincetown, MA 02657 Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of time to check in!

What should I bring?

An open mind and maybe some water.  Also, Provincetown in the summer is crowded and our guides will do their best to navigate you through the crowds to open spaces for story-telling but you will get an eyeful of Ptown’ s amazing community.

YOU DO NOT NEED A PHYSICAL TICKET.  The name you purchased under is your ticket!

What are the rules?

Rule number one on Provincetown Ghost Tour is everyone talks about Provincetown Ghost Tour.  Rule Number two  is “have a good time”.  While we do ask that you do not record video or audio of our tour, we encourage you to take pictures!  We want to see what you capture!  We’re not JUST a Haunted History Tour, we are active paranormal researchers as well!

Where can I park?

This can be challenging in the Summer so we encourage you to get to town early.  There are several public parking lots, specifically accessible off Bradford Street.  DO NOT drive down Commercial Street if you can avoid it.  Taking public transportation and making a day of it is a great idea too!  Check our recommendations for restaurants, bars and other locations where you might catch a glimpse of the past in a misty form or feel it’s cold embrace.  At the very least you’ll have a delicious bite of food or drink!

Are the stories real?

Yes!  Provincetown Ghost Tour stories are based on historical research, first-hand accounts and personal experiences.  Our founders and guides are ptown locals who have spent years invested in the community.

Are tips appropriate?

Yes!  Your guides are all local Ptownies and love what they do.  Their passion for the town and its community will help make your tour more like a “backstage pass” to Ptown and we encourage you to shower them with praise and gratuities.  Of course it is not required but it is appreciated!
