We understand that many of you want more than a book to lead you through claims of the paranormal. You want to get your hands dirty and go on good old ghost hunt! We do that too.
Many people watch television shows and movies and become interested in paranormal investigation. It is very important to understand that the shows and films, while very entertaining do not show the full experience of investigating or exploring. Because of that, PBC has long been taking small groups of people into haunted locations to give them the entire experience of a real investigation or expedition. A place like Eastern State Penitentiary is incredible in its size and its history. To be permitted to investigate the claims of paranormal activity, alone, at night is truly a wonderful opportunity.
Easter State Penitentiary housed more than 70,000 prisoners in its 150 years of operations. Begun as an experiment in redemption it became an example of cruelty and neglect.
The clip here was taken in 2010 when an investigator asked if she could enter the cell. As with all EVP, the answer was heard only during playback. A very welcoming answer, it seems.
It is difficult to decide, after so many years of investigating, what piece of evidence I find most compelling. Truthfully, while it may not seem so because of the video quality (or the camera work!), but I lean heavily toward this. The images can't convey the "feeling" of the moment. The sense of an intelligent presence. I can honestly say that I feel we were communicating with a person in this clip. It is a long one and as I said the camera work is iffy, but I left it unedited because I wanted everyone to see that we did not in anyway manipulate the flashlights. This is cell block 7.
